| Dear Bill: I am more than grateful to your prompt, precise and presumptuous works for 1960 HCHS(13th Class) reunion in aaapoe web site. On the day after 9/11/2010, may I share the following joke/story with you and our classmates? Just and hopefully, it will inspire a few more folks to come and share their story or saying on the word, "OLD" in Hakka or Hau-lou or Mandarin like the one which Teacher Yang told Tien-yueh Chuang in their exchanged e-mails. It's sort of like this, "It is easy to be born as a academic scholar, but it is extremely difficult to be born to be a businessman." Here are some western proverbs having to do with "OLD" word for your reference. "Young men may die but old men must die." "Young folks think old folks to be fools but old folks know young folks to be fools." "You can't put NEW wine in old bottles." "NEVER too old to learn." "A MAN is as old as he feels, and a woman as old as she looks." "There is no fool like an old fool." See you sometime and somewhere if not at our reunion on 12/10-19/2010.
