Dear Bill,
Please share the following with our classmates:
On 2010.10.22, the reunion organizing committee held a progress meeting in Taipei, chaired by Glory Yeh and made several decisions:
- Due to (a) not enough classmates to take the 7-day-island tour, the travel agency intended to raise price and (b) too many Chinese tourists visiting 阿里山 and 日月潭
would cause the 7-day-island tour not comfortable, the committee decided to shorten the 7-day-island tour to 4-day-delicate tour (visiting 花蓮、台東、墾丁and taking 高鐵to return to Taipei) and add 2-3 days visiting the World Flora Expo in Taipei. The total cost will be managed to be under the original budget.
- Starting from 11/01 to 11/15, the committee members will launch a campaign to attract local classmates to attend the whole reunion program. The preliminary
estimation of the attendees, including spouses, would be 20 from overseas, 50 from local, and 10 from teachers and HCHS staffs, totaling about 80 attendees.
- The first 3-day reunion program would be slightly revised as well. The committee will finalize the whole program by the end of this month and let all the classmates
know the details immediately.
Attached is the photo taken at the meeting place for the attending committee members (some were taking leave of absence). From left to right, 謝新平、時昆棣、許增源,黃 培坤、葉榮嘉、林雲海、曾義良、莊太郎、趙毅介。
