| Dear Wei-tsung: Once again, I am extremely thankful for posting my messages as well as those of other classmates at your web site at aaapoe on a short notice. You are the man! You are our trustful friend. You deserve a very loud, heavy round of applause, and even a standing ovation, Sir. I am glad to see that 15 of 1960 classmates had a good time together in L. A. Among them, I had some difficulties to tell Luu Tsu-tuu apart from Chou Wu-chieh while I could not recognize Lai Wu-kang. In the videos which you shot, it seems to me that TY Chuang talked more than others. Ha, Ha, Ha.......No hard feelings, TY. No wonder that you are a businessman, TY. I am also thrilled to know that a gang of four gathered or invaded Oakland, CA. Is it true that it is not safe to wonder on the streets at night there? It is so in almost every metropolitan city including Washington, DC, the capital of USA. I am disappointed to learn that the turnout to participate the reunion is low in Pier Huang's recent e-mail. Actually, I am kind of expecting this would happen when Kung-ming, Da-ming, Tsun-tsii, Ching-yii and I started the idea not quite two years ago. Few factors are: (1)Timing is not right. Some folks are still working and prefer to have it in the summertime. (2)Notice is short. Some classmates had booked their vacation plans a year advance. (3) Some are shy or try to stay away from those high achievers in early Chu-chung years. This is my own thought. Of course, there are other reasons. Well, at least, we have tried to get the reunion initiated. I don't know about you all. I personally just felt so...........GOOD..........to see George and Sheng-jie in Fairfax, VA, those classmates(Samuel, Pier, Chi-guang, Cheng-yii, Chun-cheun, Ying-yii, Cheng-wen, I-liang, etc.) in Tien-mu, Taipei and those friends (Kung-ming, Jong-da, Ting-jen, Daniel, Chon-hsiung, Wu-tien, Liang-lii, Yu-shian, Sheng-jie, Mee-cheun, etc.) in New Jersey/New York, for the first time after a long 50 years. What a FEELING! To thank and to help the organizing committee in Taiwan launch an aggressive campaign for our reunion, I would like to share both the message from Cynthia, a M.D. below and the attached document with you and our friends. Hopefully, this may inspire some to change their minds and make time/effort to join us in December and at our alma mater, Hsin-Chu High School. With sincere and respectful regards, Kwei-Yang Ben Chang Wu Bang, #30520 Maryland, USA Dear Friends, It is pleasing to read these great friendship quotes,it reminds me how special our friends and friendships are.
