技嘉推出首款採用威盛UMD架構的UMPC產品，訴求較筆記型電腦更小的機身與更便宜
的價格，提供接近電腦的操作功能。
技嘉（Gigabyte）今日（5/15）與威盛（VIA）合作，推出首款UMD（Ultra Mobile
Device）產品U60，進軍國內UMPC（Ultra Mobile PC）市場。
採用上下滑蓋設計的U60，可支援手寫與鍵盤輸入，大小為（寬x深x高）190mm x 120.8
x 28.3mm，內建6.5吋背光彩色螢幕，含電池重量為740克，售價為26900元。
U60採用威盛的C7-M ULV處理器，並搭配威盛VIA VX-700整合顯示晶片組。內建30萬畫
素具人臉追踨功能的網路攝影機，30GB硬碟，並支援802.11b/g無線網路與藍牙2.0傳
輸，搭載Windows XP作業系統。威盛宣稱，使用時間可達4小時。
為了擴充U60的網路連接性，技嘉也與中華電信合作，只要消費者購買U60，就可獲得優
惠券以2590元的價格購買中華電信目前推出的USB介面3.5G網卡E220，但是需要綁兩年
每月繳850元無線上網吃到飽費率。
技嘉科技旗下子公司盈嘉科技供應鏈管理處新產品導入部副理林宗周表示，U60定義上
可視為個人的第二台筆記型電腦，由於一般筆電在外出時體積與重量可能不符合一般人
需求，而PDA在使用軟體上又需要經過轉檔才能與一般電腦連結，因此U60結合PDA的輕
薄與NB的軟體相容性，應能吸引一部份NB與PDA市場採用。
林宗周表示，U60可搭配GPS模組作為車用GPS導航裝置使用，同時透過選購的DVB-T數
位電視接收模組，也能讓使用者接收無線的數位電視頻道訊號，提供行動收視的功能。

是，華碩R2H內建GPS功能，並且在操作上只支援手寫輸入，內建7吋螢幕與60GB硬碟，

GIGABYTE UMPC U60 also allows for future upgrades with GPS satellite navigation
