| From: Ben CHang <postchang@aol.com> Subject: Second 1960 HCHS Mini-Reunion, Eastern United States Date: Monday, May 2, 2011, 11:53 AM Dear Kung-Ming and whoever on the list: How have you and all been? On behalf of Washington, DC area classmates, I am sending you the preliminary information on our second mini-reunion in the east coast of the United States of America. I am also extending my greeting as well as my jubilation to you after President Obama's announcement on the death of Osama Bin Laden at the White House last night. It has been almost ten(10) long years since 911 tragic incident. Do you know what I missed the most every time when I went up to see U. S. Tennis Open and visited some friends in New York? I am sure 8 out of 10 of you folks will give me the same answer. I bet you $100 on this. We share the answer when we shall meet again. Okay? Well, here is a brief information on the re-union.
Come to discover the waterways of Maryland and Virginia, including the Chesapeake Bay, which is the North America's largest estuary, and the Potomac River, which creates two magnificent scenic spots, Great Falls, Maryland and Virginia, in all seasons. Come to enjoy the one and only, the most delicious seafood, Chesapeake Blue Crab Feast. Come to view and witness the world's most majestic Fireworks on national mall on July 4th. Come to see your old friends/classmates, to hug them and to show that you care. Come to see any national museums (Arts, Science, Technology, Air and Space, Native Indian, etc.) and America's landmarks (Washington Monument, Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial, World War II Memorial, etc.) on us. Please mark your calendar and contact any classmate (Da-Ming, Sheng-Chieh, Din-Jen, Ming- Guang, Liang-Lii, Kwei-Yang) at your choosing to register through their e-mails at your early convenience. Hopefully, we are able to answer your questions, to clear your doubts, and to accommodate your needs during your stays. Oh, yes. Your thoughts and suggestions are always welcome. I am looking forward to hearing from you. Cordially Yours, Kwei-Yang Ben Chang |
