Chen Da-Ming just told me that 1958 Class just had their 50 reunion at HCHS mid-November in Hisn-
Chu and had a group tour in the eastern part of Taiwan. I will try to call Hisn-Chu High School Alumni
Office to follow up if they also help plan 50 year reunion for 1960 Class in 2010. (2008/11/25)
I have been busy with the visits of some dignitaries such as Ms Annette Lu, the former VP and Mr.
Wang Chin-ping. As the President of Taiwanese Association of America, Greater Washington Chapter,
I have to make arrangements to please both sides, KMT and DPP followers. As indicated in the
newspapers of Taiwan, there will be 400 quests invited by Wang at China Gardens in Crystal City,
Virginia; while there will be less than 300 hard-headed Taiwanese Americans welcoming Lu at Harvest
Moon, Falls Church, Virginia in the evening of 2009/01/19, the eve of Obama's Inauguration Day. To be
reconciled with peace/harmony among us, I advised and sent some Board members to each side. What a
drag! Well, this is what Washington, DC is, the political town and center of world. Luckily, I am counting
days to leave my office. (2009/01/18)

About the announcement in the media or at any web sites, I will take care of as soon as we all agree on
when our reunion will be held and other details.....My wife, Tiffany, is a reporter and free lance writer.
She is willing to help on this one. Through some connections, the Reunion of 1960 HCHS Class (50
years) will appear in the World Journal and other local newspapers such as Chinese Newspapers in
Houston, Chicago, Seattle, Portland, Boston, Washington, DC, etc. (2010/01/16)

Compared to the most famous HCHS graduate, Dr. Y. C. Lee, I am a peanut in the field of academics.
Sometimes, you would think that you would outdo the same person in another field, i.e. mentoring. Nope!
He did exceptionally well for Rendy Lu, Number 1 tennis player of Taiwan/Asia who defeated Andy
Roddick of USA in the round of 16 at 2010 Wimbledon this week by securing some financial support from
China/Taiwan Telecom. Me, almost zilch! Anyway, my support to Rendy in tennis had been ALL in my
heart. I love tennis games more than anything else. Please click under link to see one of 1960 HCHS
classmates in the news again. (2010/07/02)
