Not too long ago, each time when I met 吳瀧川 or 張勝彥 in Taiwan, we always talked about our crazy
lives in the old days at NCKU, particularly playing snooker from 4pm until 6am the next day without rest. I
have read your bio but you skipped one important part – how you chased after your wife before you both
got married. I think you need an appendix for that story.
I remember I visited your home in Boston some 20 years ago. I didn’t know you live in New Jersey now
and you are still energetic in running your biotech business. Let’s stay in touch and talk about old-day

I don’t mean to discourage you to have a tennis match at our Dec reunion but simply remind you that we
are not young any more and we had better watch our health conditions. A year ago, I asked the doctor to
check my heart NOT because I had heart problem, just because I found some of my friends were
suffered from heart-attack during doing exercises. After a series of tests, I found my heart artillery was
50% clogged up. The doctor said there was nothing I could do about it, but it was lucky that I knew the
fact so I would be very careful to prevent from what happened to some of my friends as mentioned
