Thank you for your nice note. After I read your email, I do remember you. Unfortunately, we have not had a chance to
reconnect until now. But, it is never too late. Please keep in touch and visit me when you are coming to Cleveland area.
During the middle school and high school years, I commuted between Chu-nan and Hsin-chu from 1954 to1958, stayed in
the school dorm for 1958-59, and stayed off campus for 1959-60 when my family moved to Taipei. In fact, I visited HCSH
for the first time (2007) since we graduated in 1960 and I have not visited our home town Chu-nan since 1959. We have
quite a few HCSH 1960 classmates from Chu-nan. It will be nice if we can all share our stories of our home town and the
train commuting life. Perhaps, one more step beyond, we may have a reunion for the entire class of 1954, Chu-nan
Elementary School, one of these days.
Thank many of our HCSH 1960 classmates' effort to make reconnection possible for many of us. I am still uncommitted to
attend our reunion in December. I am still teaching and will need to find someway to reschedule my classes/exams in
order to get away, since early and mid-December will be the end of semester and final exam week. But, I will try. (Quote
